Do free exchanges apply to The Perfecting People Project purchases like they do with CopperEtiquette.com purchases?

We do offer exchanges, but because we do not make a profit off of the shirts for Perfecting People Project, we do not offer free exchanges at this time.

How did The Perfecting People Project come about?

Ever since we thought of CopperEtiquette.com we knew that we wanted to use it as a platform to make a difference. We realize, as you do that there is more to the world than just looking good; so we wanted to help folks save the world and look good at the same time. We thought there was no better way to do this, than by creating apparel that makes a statement and have the proceeds go to helping causes that people are passionate about. So we did it, and it’s one of our greatest accomplishments.

What does the name the name Perfecting People Project mean?

None of us are perfect and never will be. But we can strive everyday to be better than the last, therefore perfecting ourselves not just making ourselves better. Therefore, we thought a project of this caliber deserved a strong name with a powerful message and the name Perfecting People Project was born.

I want to order a quantity of 2 or more of the same product (i.e. 2 girl shirts and 2 guy shirts) can I choose more than one charity for this purchase?

No. In order to accomplish this please add each shirt to your cart one at a time instead of in the quantity of 2. This will allow each product to show as a separate item in your cart (4 individual items) and give you an opportunity to choose separate charities for each.

How much do you give to the charity selected?

50% of the purchase price of the Perfecting People Project shirts goes directly to the charity selected by you each and every month. The other 50% is used to recover the cost to produce each shirt. For every dollar added to the shopping cart of a CopperEtiquette.com purchase we will match it 100% making the total donation $2.

How do I make a larger donation?

The best way to make a larger donation is by purchasing additional items. Each time you make a purchase we will give as described above.

How can I help?

If you are viewing this now, we hope we inspire you to make a purchase. We have kept the donation amounts low to eliminate any hesitation. Every little bit helps and your donation is exactly what’s needed to make a difference.  If you are an artist or just a really cool cat that can draw or knows design software, email us your ideas at PPP@CopperEtiquette.com. If you work in textiles, is a t-shirt wholesaler or have a screen printing business we would love your help! CopperEtiquette.com absorbs all of the cost of producing these wonderful shirts from the design to the printing. So if you want to help us out in any way contact us at PPP@CopperEtiquette.com. Lastly, if you would like more information about Perfecting People Project and its mission to inspire the world to help others don’t hesitate to contact us as well. Big or small, blog or national publication we want to spread the word about the good work that we are doing. This can’t grow without your help, so if you have viewership in the tens or the millions email us at PPP@CopperEtiquette.com. This is about all of us working together for change and we will make sure that you are recognized for your effort and helping us make a difference!

How did you choose the charities?

We used the most reputable charity watch dog groups that we knew of Charity Watch and Charity Navigator to determine which charitable organizations would be right for Perfecting People Project. These two organizations are pit bulls on a pork chop when it comes to rating charities and making sure that the public is aware of what there dollars are going to. Many of the charities are ones that we donate to personally or are extremely passionate about the causes they support. A few of the charities are located in our home town of Detroit, Michigan and are not only rated well by Charity Watch and Charity Navigator, but are known throughout Michigan for making a difference in lives of local citizens. There were so many more organizations that were a perfect fit for our criteria, but we had to keep or list reasonable. Visit Charity Watch and Charity Navigator for a list of National and International charities worth your donations.

Why do I get to choose the Charity I give to?

We believe that you are more likely to donate to a charity if it’s in support of a cause that you are passionate about. We don’t care which one you choose just as long as you give!

Who is the artist?

The master mind behind all of the T Shirt designs for Perfecting People Project  is Sandin Medjedovic. Sandin is an art directer, designer, and graffiti artist out of Sarajevo BiH. Out of the entire list of artists we could have chosen, we felt Sandin’s clean, bold style of imagery would be able to convert the gigantic causes we had selected into simplified thought provoking artistry. If you are in need of design, illistration etc. feel free to contact Sandin here.

What are the “Artist Inspired” shirts about?

Sometimes an image can do what words can’t.  Therefore we took a cause we felt strongly about and Sandin used art, color and his expertise instead of words to send a powerful, relevant message
